BIOGRAPHY

Lewis Inman is an award-winning documentary photographer and filmmaker born in East London. His work explores critical global issues, including climate change, natural disasters, and migration, focusing on South East Asia and his home city of London.
His storytelling is driven by photographing the mundane details of everyday life with an eye-catching, vivid imagination; he captures the essence of human experience. Through this creative lens, he harnesses connections with people globally, fostering interactions that resonate deeply with the individuals he meets and the viewers of his work. This process amplifies underrepresented voices and encourages a greater understanding of pressing social and humanitarian challenges.

Lewis has won many awards including first place prize of the Symons-Hatton Award which recognised his “commitment and dedication to Lens Based Media”, Photofusion – Public Choice Award Winner & Leica Photo month winner.
